Tears and rips usually come from heavy wear, a rushed installation, or equipment dragged across the surface. Seams weaken, high-traffic zones give way, and you’re left with ragged patches that look bad and, worse, turn into trip hazards. Left alone, a small tear only spreads.

We repair torn turf so it looks and plays like the rest of the field. First we assess the damage, then cut out and replace the affected section, blending the new piece into the surrounding turf with colour- and pile-matched material. The result is a smooth, safe surface and a field that keeps its full service life.

Compacted infill, constant foot traffic and skipped maintenance gradually turn a field hard. As the surface packs down it loses its give, drainage suffers, the fibres wear faster, and players feel every step. A hard field simply doesn’t play, or protect, the way it should.

We mechanically aerate and decompact the infill, breaking up the packed layer without harming the turf fibres. That brings back the cushioning and shock absorption, gets water moving again, and leaves a safer, more comfortable surface. Done on a regular schedule, it keeps the field playing well and adds years to its life.

Over time dirt, leaves, twigs and other grit work their way into the fibres and infill. It dulls the look, blocks drainage, wears the surface unevenly, and gives bacteria and moss a foothold, all of which chip away at both hygiene and playability.

Our deep-clean process lifts and loosens the infill so trapped debris can be screened out. Clean infill drops back onto the field, coarse dirt is collected and removed, and a vacuum stage pulls out the fine dust. You’re left with a clean, free-draining surface, and the good infill stays exactly where it belongs.

Seams pull apart under heavy use, weather, or a poor original install. Once they open you get visible gaps, an uneven surface and a real trip hazard, plus the infill starts to migrate through the split. Ignore it and a minor seam becomes a major, costly repair.

We rebond and secure separated seams so the turf sits flush and tight again, using durable, sports-grade materials and techniques that leave the join smooth and near-invisible. Paired with routine upkeep and quick fixes, it keeps seams from reopening and protects the life of the field.

When water pools instead of draining, you’re usually looking at compacted infill, a clogged drainage layer or install issues, and in Florida’s rain that adds up fast. A soggy field shifts its infill, invites mould, and quickly becomes unsafe to play on.

We lift and redistribute the infill to break up compaction, then brush the surface back to an even, consistent state so water can move through the pile and into the base again. Keeping the infill loose and level is the simplest way to keep a field draining properly and playable after a storm.

When infill isn’t spread evenly, some areas end up overfilled and others run thin. That uneven profile shows up as patchy drainage, unpredictable ball bounce and inconsistent footing, and it wears the turf out faster, pushing you toward early repairs or replacement.
