Field Repairs

Catch turf damage early and keep the surface safe and consistent.

Invisible Fixes with
Pro-Level Tools

Artificial turf works hard, and Florida fields work harder, with leagues, tournaments and training running nearly year-round. Sooner or later seams open up, inlays lift, edges fray and infill drifts, and each one chips away at safety, playability and how the field looks.

That's exactly what we fix.

Clean Turf Florida handles turf repair for sports fields at every level. Community pitch or competitive stadium, we find the weak spots and fix them before they turn into a safety claim or a full resurface.

Common Turf Repairs We Perform

Seam repair detail
Seam & Joint Restoration

When seams pull apart or logos and lines start lifting, we re-glue, re-stitch or swap out sections so the surface holds together and stops unravelling.

Perimeter & Edge Repair

Edges fail first, especially where turf meets fencing or concrete. We rebuild and reinforce them for a tidier, safer perimeter.

Patch & Spot Repair

Burns, tears and worn patches get cut out and patched with colour- and pile-matched turf, so repairs blend in and play like the rest of the field.

Fixing Poor Drainage

Pooling or soggy spots point to a drainage problem. We trace the cause and rework the sub-base or infill compaction to get water moving again.

High-Traffic Infill Rebuild

Goalmouths and centre circles lose infill fast. We top these zones back up and brush the material in for even, consistent footing.

What are the most common turf field issues that require repair?

The usual culprits are split seams, lifted inlays, frayed edges, uneven infill and worn high-traffic zones. Left alone, each one becomes a safety risk and drags down how the field plays.

How do you fix seam separations on a turf field?

We restitch the seam with sports-grade adhesives and stitching, then blend it back in so you're left with a flush, trip-free join.

Can inlays like numbers, logos, and lines be repaired or replaced?

Absolutely. Numbers, logos and lines can be re-secured, re-seamed or fully re-cut in matching turf so they look sharp and stay put.

What type of equipment do you use for repairs?
We bring our own specialist turf machinery for decompaction, deep cleaning and levelling, so repairs are backed by the same equipment we use for full maintenance.
How quickly can repairs be completed?
Most jobs wrap up in one to two days depending on how much damage there is and the weather. For high-use venues we can arrange faster, emergency turnarounds.
Do I need to shut down the entire field for repairs?
Usually not. We can cordon off just the areas we're working on and schedule around your bookings to keep downtime to a minimum.
How do I know if my field needs repairs or a full replacement?
If the base and drainage are sound and the trouble is localised, seams, inlays or infill, repairs are usually all you need. We inspect the whole field first and tell you straight before recommending anything bigger.
Will repairs affect the field’s playability?
They improve it. Every repair is done to bring back proper footing, shock absorption and a uniform look, so ball roll, traction and player safety land back where they should be.
Can repairs be done year-round in Florida?
Florida's climate lets us work through most of the year, though heavy rain can push a job. We'll book around the weather and your season so the field is ready when you need it.
